Swan Maclaren Group (SMG) recently held their annual Leaders’ Summit at end Jan 2024, helmed by Robert Yap (Chairman), Lim Chai Boon (Group CEO) and Edwin Tan (Deputy CEO).

The 2.5 days event saw SMG leaders deep dive into the group’s vision, mission, strategies, milestones & projections for the next 5 years in the various markets, given that our plans to expand into newer markets, especially with the latest global developments and insights.

This saw the development of new markets for SMG such as Europe, Middle East and Greater Asia which will help bolster the Group’s international presence.

Besides that, at SMG, we recognise and acknowledge that our group needs to remain human-centric as human capital is one of the key to our group’s success, hence a leadership training session was conducted during the Summit.

The main objectives of this training were to better understand the different types of leaders SMG currently has and to help develop insights and skill sets needed for SMG leaders to not only lead their teammates in the various markets but also to attract the top talents globally as we continue to scale up.

With this Summit, SMG hopes that this will help accelerate our business and people development as we look forward to new markets and business opportunities.
