The refurbishment work for Oakwood Premier AMTD Singapore not only creates a welcoming and sophisticated experience for guests, but also demonstrates a successful design collaboration — SMID and Patty Mak designed an apartment complex within an existing structure in an innovative and creative manner. From its original layout, the former office building has been creatively transformed into a 268-keys luxury serviced apartment tower — ranging from high ceilings to cozy corners, each space is individually designed with intricate geometry to enhance the essence of the space, while specially curated furniture and carpets help frame and define the circulation flow.
