Mr. Lam Kok Shang is the Independent Director of Swan & Maclaren Group. Kok Shang brings over 36 years of experience and expertise in the public accounting sector, specialising in corporate tax and GST. His extensive experience spans multiple industries, including financial services, asset management, real estate, government, and healthcare.

Prior to his appointment to SMG’s board, Kok Shang headed the Indirect Tax Practice of KPMG Singapore – where he recently retired as Partner. Kok Shang currently serves as the Audit & Risk Committee Chairman at TalkMed Group Limited (SGX mainboard), where is he also an Independent Director. Kok Shang is also a fellow member of the Singapore Chartered Accountants, an Australian Chartered Accountant, a part-time lecturer at the Singapore Tax Academy, and is member of the GST Committee of the Singapore Institute of Tax Professionals. Kok Shang is an Accredited Income tax and GST Advisor.

Kok Shang’s wealth of experience in the public and private sectors will add further depth to SMG’s board. His guidance and insights will further drive our Group as we continue to grow from strength to strength.
