Mr Matthew Hon is the Executive Director for Swan & Maclaren Group.  He is also the President for Swan & Maclaren Consultants Pte Ltd.

Matthew graduated from Illinois Institute of Technology with a First Class Honours in Bachelor of Architecture.  He is also a Registered Architect with the Singapore Board of Architects and a Corporate Member of Singapore Institute of Architects.

For the past decades, Matthew has been actively involved in the Built Environment Industry not only in Singapore but also in the South East Asia region.  He has been a contributor to the changing real estate landscape in the region with the numerous design projects in Singapore, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia etc.  Through the course of design and management consultancy, Matthew has also developed partnership models for the regional expansion of Swan & Maclaren Group.  Such partnerships allowed the Group to be able to expand to a greater degree of consultancy services, as well as establish new markets segments.

Since 2018, Matthew is the Independent Director for Khoon Group Limited.  The company is a Singapore-based Mechanical and Electrical Engineering service provider specialised in providing telecom, electrical engineering solutions and listed in the HKSE with a market capitalisation of HKD $700 million.

With the current role as President of Swan & Maclaren Consultants Pte Ltd, he will further strategise the practise into a Total Design solution, via adaptation and acquisition of consultants from various industries to cater to the new demands of future Built environment delivery.
